Broadbase Software

Planning for a potential IPO, they shifted their product focus from basic tools to sophisticated applications used to turn raw data into business insight. approached NIA Creative with a request to create a website and collateral materials for their
collaborative called BusinessOwnerSpace.com (BOS). Sometimes when you launch a product, things don't go as planned. There can be multiple causes of this problem - perhaps there are problems inherent in the product itself, or perhaps the launch budget wasn't large enough to enable a significant impact. Usually there are several causes of an underperforming product - like it or not, most of them are the result of issues coming from the marketing and sales departments. For this reason, it is critical that sales and marketing work together during a product introduction - marketing needs to drive messaging and positioning, and sales needs to provide input based on what they hear in the field. How does the new product solve customer problems? Rather than relying on typical marketing pieces (brochure, datasheet), what sales tools can marketing develop that will best showcase the product?

Front Range Solutions

Front Range Solutions

FrontRange approached NIA with a unique request: The company was in urgent need of marketing pieces for their Annual Sales Meeting that was taking place in just 1 week. While this would be challenging under any circumstances, it was especially difficult for NIA as the company had literally just completed a month-long, deadline-intensive project for another client and the creative team was exhausted. But the excitement of a new project and an opportunity to bring on a new client won out, resulting in a meeting that evening with FrontRange CEO Michael McCloskey.

While many companies understand the importance of a marketing budget, there are some organizations that have allocated limited funds in this area. Perhaps they have relied on word-of-mouth or the occasional press release to generate interest in their products and services - while these tactics may work for a time, there will come a point when the organization will need to reach out to a broader customer base to ensure continued growth.
